As a parent, it is likely you are aware of the financial burden childcare costs can be. However, your employer can help you by operating a childcare voucher scheme. By electing to take part of your salary in childcare vouchers, up to a maximum of £243 will be exempt from Tax and NIC, you can save money.

 How does the scheme work?

Your employer will amend your salary in line with your chosen salary sacrifice amount, and your voucher account will be credited with funds on payday. You will be be able to access an online statement of transactions made including payments made to the provider.*
